Are you looking for a unique drum carder that allows you to card wool faster? Then this is the ideal carder. This carder features three drums. The extra drum speeds up the carding process, so the wool requires fewer passes. The carder is built with a sturdy aluminium frame, bearings, and an industrial toothed belt drive. The bearings ensure smooth operation, and the belt prevents the rollers from slipping during normal use. The carder produces a large batt of 19 x 60 cm and is available with 54, 72, or 120 TPI carding cloth.
Drum carder triple
The aluminium frame has an open structure, allowing the carder to be clamped in various positions depending on your workspace. There is sufficient space between the drums and the frame, making it easy to clean the edges of the drums.
When not in use, the large drum automatically rotates into a position where the doffing strip is at the top. This strip has a groove that prevents the doffing tool from slipping when removing the wool. This makes it easy to remove the batt without having to manually rotate the drum.
The carder is finished with birch plywood and a white HPL top layer: a hard, scratch-resistant surface that is easy to clean.
