Drive and Control
The drive consists of a powerful BLDC motor with industrial timing belts. The speed is continuously adjustable from 5 to 100 revolutions per minute. Even at low speed, the drum carder delivers the same power as at high speed.

Safety
The drum carder is equipped with a start and stop button, an emergency stop, and a safety switch in the protective cover. The machine only operates when the cover is closed. After stopping, the drums come to a rapid halt. To remove the wool, the drums can be turned by hand; the large drum is turned manually, the small drum moves automatically. The timing belts are fully covered.

Ease of Use
The feeding board is large enough to easily feed in the wool. Although the drum carder only works with the cover closed, there is enough space to feed the wool underneath. The frame has holders for the cleaning brush and removal pins, keeping everything within reach during carding. Due to its weight, the drum carder stays stable on the table and does not move when removing the wool.
